Bauern- und Freilichtmuseum
The MondSeeLand Farm Museum was built as an interpretation of a modern agricultural outbuilding and serves as an informative entrance to the Mondseer Rauchhaus open-air museum with its outbuildings and outdoor area.
It's a permanent exhibition on the first ground and offers his visitors a trip through the farmers work in the four seasons.
There are many pictures and texts with original machines. The subject area is for example the work in the wood and the agriculture 6000 years ago.
There are also events and workshops from the farmers life. You can also taste the typical Austrian "Krapfen" or a hard liquor.
